A CAR mounted a kerb and crashed into oncoming traffic after a driver suffered a medical episode at the wheel, say police.
Four vehicles have been involved in a smash in the area of Marshalls cross Road and Eaves Lane this afternoon (Monday, December 23).

The crash involved a red Suzuki Ignis, a cream and black Renault, a silver Skoda Octavia Estate and a taxi.
Police and ambulance were called to the scene shortly before 3pm.
A police spokeswoman said there were "no serious injuries" sustained in the crash.
She said: "There were four vehicles involved and vehicles have been blocking the road.
"There are no serious injuries and no one was trapped.
"One vehicle mounted a kerb and went into oncoming traffic. The driver had a medical episode."
A North West Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed they were called to the scene.
