SAINTS coach Justin Holbrook said that Ben Barba's future may be resolved over the next fortnight.
Reports have resurfaced today suggesting that the full back could end his stint with Saints, reaching an agreement to end his contract a year early to make a return to the NRL for 2019.
Saints have continually dismissed speculation over Barba's future.
Speaking after Saints' 16-12 loss to Huddersfield, Holbrook said the fullback's future may be resolved over gthe next couple of weeks.
He said: “Obviously there’s continuing to be a lot of talk.
"That’ll be ongoing and I know the club is looking at all that stuff at the moment so in the next couple of weeks we’ll probably know what’s going on.”
