THERE will be music in the air next month, when pop diva and BRIT award nominee Paloma Faith headlines an open air concert at Haydock Park Racecourse.
The Can’t Rely on You songstress announced that she will be showcasing her tracks from her latest album The Architect which is on course to become her fourth double platinum album in a row.
This would make her the first British woman in chart history to achieve this feat.
She will also perform her well loved hits from her 2014 album A Perfect Contradiction.
The 36-year-old mum-of-one, said: “I can’t wait to perform at Haydock Park Racecourse for the first time.
“I love summertime and I love outdoor shows so to be able to perform on an – hopefully – sunny evening at the course is something I’m very much looking forward to.
“The only reason I do what I’m doing is because I love touring – as when I’m out there I am excited and feel that I’m in the right place.”
Jason Fildes, Haydock Park general manager, added: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Paloma Faith, she is a fabulous singer and I know the North West crowds will be thrilled by another top class summer’s evening of great music.
“Personally I can’t wait to see her on stage – especially performing her brilliant track ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This.”
