Free art classes for young people
ART and craft sessions based on the history and heritage of Newton-le-Willows are available for youngsters.
The 10-week project, which is free of charge, will be open to boys and girls aged from nine to 16.
Youngsters will learn four decorative techniques and make at least nine products and their work will be displayed at Hope Academy.
Sessions, on Thursday from 6 to 8pm and Fridays from 5 to 7pm, will take place in Passsoul Studio, in Market Street, and will be run by DBS-checked teachers.
A place can be secured by filling in an enrolment and permission form.
