A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was among three people who appeared in court accused of stealing fishing tackle and alloy wheels worth a combined £1,600.
Ranging in ages from 13 to 21, all three deny the theft from Brunswick Street, off Derbyshire Hill Road in April.
It is alleged they stole the fishing equipment after breaking into a shed.
Legal restrictions prevent the naming of the teenagers, however, the 21-year-old defendant is Phillip Burrows of nearby Chiltern Road.
All were granted conditional bail and must return to St Helen Magistrates’ Court in August.
